Erasing Erasure

For Day 30 of NaPoWriMo the task is to write an erasure poem. Because I’m such a zany twat, I decided to use Erasure lyrics. Pop music’s a kind of poetry, right?

We'll be
            waiting for a long time
We're gonna be we're gonna be

                  connected

                together
And nobody never
Gonna disconnect us
        separate us
Or say

        you go too far
     you          fool
Stop!
         jump before you look
Get hung up
      you         fool       of love
