I've
just got back from the launch of
Allumi, a new luxury
scented candle company offering soy wax, soot-free candles,
refillable recyclable car air fresheners and eco-friendly soy-scented
melts. (The company don't use plug-ins for the environment's sake.)
Held
at the charming Manchester Hall, the night was
attended by Lauren Simon
from Real Housewives of Cheshire, Kieron Richardson (Ste Hay in
Hollyoaks) and Tina O'Brien (Sarah Platt in Coronation St, Bex Fisher in Waterloo Road).
I
also bumped into Danny Robinson from
MTV's Just Tattoo of Us.
The
night also included free hand massages and heartfelt speeches from
Alison, who is behind the Allumi brand, and her husband Doug.
A
percentage of the monthly business profits will be donated to Allumi
giving, a branch that covers charity causes.
