Back in December ‘22 I got this Alien Vault book in the family secret Santa. What an incredible gift. I got around to reading it this week.
The book is more like a package, a laminated cardboard sleeve with the book inside, which itself contains two packets stuffed with posters and replica marked-up scripts showing Director Ridley Scott’s thought processes. The book itself intricately details the casting and set design, HR Giger’s incredible visual creations (including the egg, spacecraft and xenomorph), behind-the-scenes stories (some that I don't recall being in the DVD extras) and the audience reception.
A real treat for fans of the movie.
