From Rukmini Iyer’s India Express book: Bengali Style Mustard Fish with Crushed Peas and Spiced Sweet Potato.
I had to improvise a few ingredients: neither Aldi, Asda nor Tesco had panko breadcrumbs, so I made some with regular flour, or at least I attempted to. They all clumped together. I should have just bought pre-sliced bread and blended it. Also I only had kefir yoghurt, not the regular stuff. Don’t know what difference this would have made. I’m also lacking a potato masher, so crushed all that up haphazardly with the back of a wooden spoon. The whole thing took and hour and 53 minutes.
Interesting, but way to mustard-heavy for me. Murders the nose.
