Busy week. Went out to Canon Hall in Yorkshire with family. Got food.
Went to a WeRoad Social Meetup in Manahatta Deansgate. Another medley of people, good folk, no real agenda though. I stayed for a bit. WeRoad organise group travel trips across the world and provide opportunities to meet other backpacker types.
Last night was the first public night of The Salmon of Knowledge, a quirky new Irish bar in the Northern Quarter. Named after the wisdom figure of Irish Mythology, the bar features mosaics of Irish celebs (spot them yourself), cartoon fish, 70s disco and rock, hipsters and sports. I’d go again.
