Last
night I attended an influencer dinner promoted by Warrior Supplements, a new brand of
gym-themed food. In association with Go:PR and Events, the dinner brought
together bloggers, tweeters and 'grammers for an evening at the
stunning Foodwell in
Manchester's
Spinningfields.
We
were offered a slimmed-down but still highly appealing version of the
menu: a choice of cauliflower hot wings, flamed yakitori chicken
skewers and seasonal soup for starters and a choice of coconut katsu
curry, Firefly burger and cauliflower shwarma as mains.
I
went for the cauliflower starter- a nicely spicy opener, and followed
it with the katsu curry, a mild, delicious concoction with crispy
breaded chicken and a thick, dabbable sauce.
In
attendance: TOWIE's Dan Osborne, here sporting
Warrior's new hoodie.
Warrior's
products include protein shakes, white chocolate crisp or salted
caramel crunch bars, chocolate brownie or white chocolate and
cranberry flapjacks. (These were included in the complimentary goody
bags, along with a shaker.) Keiron, owner of KPF Enterprises, who own
the Warrior brand, gave a speech about the products, explaining the
bars are available in Iceland, ASDA, and B&M for a fair £1.
A
great night in a lovely venue with friendly influencers and staff.
